A legacy of mining, redefined
Zawar Mines, the world’s oldest zinc–lead mining belt, spans four deposits, including Mochia, Balaria, Zawarmala, and Baroi. It completed 276.7 km of exploration drilling in FY 2024-25, an all-time record.

Zawar Mines, located 40 km south of Udaipur in Rajasthan, boast a mining legacy of over 2,000 years. The site is powered by an 80 MW coal-based captive thermal power plant, ensuring reliable energy for operations, and is seamlessly connected by road for efficient accessibility.

Underground ore handling
