Our approach is grounded in innovation, safety, environmental stewardship, and social well-being, with the overarching aim of delivering lasting value to communities at our areas of operation and beyond.

We are steadfast in our dedication to enhancing quality of life and promoting financial empowerment. Our CSR initiatives—spanning social, economic, and environmental domains—continue to drive holistic development and meaningful transformation at the grassroots level.

As an impact-driven organization, Hindustan Zinc remains committed to fostering sustainable, inclusive growth through scientifically informed initiatives and the development of strong, community-based institutions. Our enduring CSR legacy—built over more than two decades—continues to reflect our deep-rooted philosophy of giving back and creating shared value for all stakeholders.

During FY 2024-25, our CSR programmes benefited the local communities to:

  • 2.3 million lives positively impacted during FY 2024-25 through our CSR interventions on community development, women empowerment, education and sustainable livelihood among other areas
  • 2362 villages benefited from our overall sustained CSR programmes
  • Udaipur continued to be provided with sewage treatment facilities and water supply respectively
  • Major highlights:
    • 1969 Nandghars completed in Rajasthan; 101 handed over in Rajsamund and 44 WIP.
    • 34.46 Km of road infra, facilitating safer transportation, access in 46 villages
    • 35 Acres coverage under Bio-Fortified crops at Zawar
    • 2.32 lakh people reached thru Sakhi’s Uthori, a theatre group for social awareness on female foeticide, domestic abuse etc. in school/ colleges/ city hub & festivals like Jaigarh.
    • Sakhi’s take charge of 1st ever women operated BPCL petrol pump in Rajasthan
    • 140 Government schools improved thru learning outcomes & Infrastructure strengthening.
    • U/17 team unbeaten in all 10 matches of zonal round of AIFF Elite Youth League 25
    • 6.2 Cr KL potable water supplied to several 1000 HHs improving access & public health
