It has come to our attention that unscrupulous and fraudulent individuals are misusing the name, logo, stationery and signatures of Hindustan Zinc to offer fictitious employment opportunities. We are taking this matter seriously and working with law enforcement authorities to identify and take strict action against the perpetrators of this scheme. Please note that Hindustan Zinc Limited does not engage in providing unsolicited employment offers or ask for payment. In case you have received any such suspicious communication, report it immediately.
It is a sophisticated fraud in which individuals are offered fictitious job opportunities, often through bogus websites, fake emails claiming to be from Hindustan Zinc, using its name and logo. These emails generally request recipients to provide personal information and payments to advance the fake job applications.
The perpetrators often ask recipients to complete fake recruitment documents such as application forms, terms and conditions of employment or visa forms, bearing the name and logo of Hindustan Zinc. There is an immediate request for providing personal information, including address, date of birth, passport details and even bank details, among others.
Candidates are also requested to contact other companies or individuals, namely lawyers, bank officials, travel agencies, courier companies and visa immigration or processing agencies.
The perpetrators often communicate using individual mobile numbers or unofficial platforms, instead of official company contacts.
The candidate is asked to pay a small portion of the recruitment fees while the perpetrator offers to pay the bulk amount.
The most evident sign is the urgency and insistence to make the payment or share personal information.
