Nurturing farmer livelihoods and livestock
Samadhan, in partnership with BAIF Institute for Sustainable Livelihoods and Development (BISLD), supports farmer families with sustainable sources of income. By strengthening farming systems, improving livestock health, and building collective enterprises, we enable communities to adopt climate-smart practices and secure a more resilient future.

Outreach outcomes at a glance
- Centre of Excellence – Livestock: 91% success rate at breed improvement in cattle.
- Farmer Producer Organisations: 6 FPCs and created with 9,523 farmer base, ₹0.85 crore cumulative share capital, and ₹9.81 crore of total turnover.
- Microenterprises: Dairy and mineral mixture units scaled successfully, with products marketed under the Gauam brand, ensuring new income streams.
- Animal Care & Health: 34,638 animals benefited through animal health camps.
- Sustainable Agriculture: 30.38 million litres of water saved through application of Fasal Amrit across 1,350 bighas.
- Nutrition-focused Agriculture: 518 MT Of bio-fortified, zinc and iron-enriched wheat produced by 740 farmers, ensuring adoption of climate-resistant.
