With over four decades of strategic executive experience, Mr. Navin Agarwal is a veteran in the natural resources and technology sector. He brings a vision to transform the industry as the engine of India’s economic growth. He is also widely recognised for creating a culture of business excellence, global best practices and benchmark performance through innovation.
A commerce graduate from Sydenham College, Mumbai.
Completed his President Management Programme at Harvard University.
Appointment
While Mr. Agarwal was appointed to Hindustan Zinc Limited’s Board of Directors in April 2002, he has been associated with the Vedanta Group since its inception. He is also the Executive Vice Chairman of Vedanta Limited and Vedanta Resources Limited.
Experience
Mr. Agarwal played a pivotal role in building a highly successful meritocratic organisation, steering the company to achieve the leadership position in non-ferrous metal. He has also spearheaded its strategy through organic growth and value-accretive investments. Mr. Agarwal is passionate about developing leadership talent, strongly committed to the inclusive growth of communities, and a fervent advocate of sustainable development.
