Mr. Ashim Kumar Modi is an Officer of the Indian Revenue Service (IT), 2000 batch, and is currently serving as Joint Secretary & Financial Advisor in the Ministry of Coal, with additional charge of the Ministry of Mines and the Ministry of Minority Affairs, Government of India. He also serves as a Part-Time Official Director on the Boards of Coal India Limited and South Eastern Coalfields Limited (SECL).
