Udaipur, 14th September 2022: Hindustan Zinc, a Vedanta group company and India’s largest & only integrated producer of Zinc, Lead & Silver, had a glorious victory at 21st Chapter Convention on Quality Concept by winning 26 awards under three broad categories which were Allied Concept, 5s Case Study, and Quality Circle. The convention was organised by Quality Circle Forum of India, Rajsamand Chapter and the theme was Integrated Quality Concepts – the Gateway to Global Leadership.
The convention saw a vast participation from 85 teams from more than 10 organizations. It had significant stakeholders from the industries who shared discourse and discussion around education, training, propagation and implementation of Quality Concepts in industries, service sector, education, health, rural areas, society, etc.
Hindustan Zinc unlocked massive achievement by winning 21 Gold and 5 Silver Awards. The company’s units, Rampura Agucha Mine won 2 Gold awards in Allied Concept, 2 Gold awards & 1 Silver award in Quality Circle, Dariba Smelter Complex won 4 Gold awards in Allied Concepts & 2 Gold awards in Quality Circle, Sindesar Khurd Mine won 2 Gold awards & 1 Silver award in Allied Concept, 1 Gold award & 1 Silver award in Quality Circle and Zinc Smelter Debari won 2 Gold awards in Allied Concept, 1 Gold award in 5S Case Study & 1 Gold award & 1 Silver award in Quality Concept.
