Udaipur, 21st January 2023: MKM Football Tournament, one of the biggest State Youth tournaments in the country, is back with its 43rd edition. The tournament kickstarted with a grand inauguration ceremony on January 21, 2023 at Zawar, MKM stadium. The Chief Guest – Kalyan Chaubey – President of the All-India Football Federation and Guest of Honour – Manvendra Singh – President, Rajasthan Football Association inaugurated the ceremony. Hindustan Zinc in association with the Zawar Mines Mazdoor Sangh will host the 10-day tournament that will garner audience participation of more than 20,000 people. MKM tournament falls in- line with Hindustan Zinc’s commitment to ushering a football revolution in the state of Rajasthan and to grow the football culture amongst the locals.
The Chief Guest, Kalyan Chaubey, commented, “I am delighted to be a part of this and to support Hindustan Zinc for one of the country’s major national level sports competitions, which will provide a platform for young boys to showcase their skills. Hindustan Zinc’s initiative to enhance Indian football will have an impact beyond Rajasthan.”

The 10-day Tournament will witness 12 teams participating from across India competing against each other. Punjab, Shama United Football Club Mumbai, Doon Star FC, Dehradun, Rajasthan-XI, Hindustan Zinc-XI, RBI Football Team, Mumbai, DFA Udaipur, ARA Football Club, Gujrat, STFC- Syed Tajuddin Football Club, Srinagar, Delhi XI, Delhi, Artillery Center Army Football, Hyderabad, and FC Dhanbad are the 12 teams that will be playing against each other to win the tournament trophy the MKM title.
