Goal

Provide potable drinking water in Rajasthan, which lacks adequate groundwater, quality water and free women from the arduous task of walking long distances to fetch water.

Key Features

• Working towards ensuring accessibility and availability of clean drinking water to the community by establishing RO/ATMs or by providing water tankers
• Covering 6 locations and 5 districts in Rajasthan

Major Activities & Achievements during FY 2023-24

• 6.2 crore kilolitres of potable water supplied, significantly improving access and public health for several thousand
  households
• 12 “Jal Sakhis” have been trained and empowered as local women leaders to independently operate RO water ATMs in
  villages
• Water supply provided in 36 villages through a combination of tankers and pipelines, delivering approximately 6.11 crore cubic meters of water and benefiting around 2.19 lakh people
