Employee Volunteering as a Practice

At Hindustan Zinc, we have implemented the practice of employee volunteering across the organisation as part of our efforts to drive our CSR initiatives and promote responsible actions. Employees are provided the opportunity to participate in our social development journey and contribute meaningfully to addressing societal challenges.

During FY 2023-24:

  • Financial Literacy Sessions – Employees conducted sessions on financial literacy for Sakhi women, supporting their journey towards economic empowerment.
  • Shiksha Sambal Project – Volunteers contributed to summer and winter camps by engaging with students on academic topics and career awareness.
  • Safety Awareness – Employees led safety-focused sessions under the Safety Project, emphasizing personal and workplace safety practices.
  • Indian Sign Language Training – Employees took part in Indian Sign Language learning sessions to build inclusive communication skills.
