Nand Ghar

As part of HZL mission and in line with Prime Minister’s vision of improved infrastructure, technology incubation, eradicating child malnutrition, providing education and healthcare and empowering women with skill development, including animal welfare HZL scaled up its CSR initiatives in partnership with AAF through its programs like Nand Ghar, TACO (animal welfare initiative), Swasth Gaon Abhiyan.

Hindustan Zinc through the Anil Agarwal Foundation (“AAF”) implemented various activities falling under the CSR framework /policies of HZL and AAF, such as the Nand Ghar program, TACO (an animal welfare initiative), and Swasth Gaon Abhiyan

Construction of a total of 1,491 New Nand Ghars in FY 24 with HZL’s support. These Nand Ghars were majorly spread across Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh.

In the FY-24, we handheld operations and maintenance of 1930 of project 4K Nand Ghars and 1700 of project 25 K Nand Ghars across various project locations. More than 2.5 lakh women and children benefited through the initiative.
