Developmental challenges are complex and can never be addressed through lone efforts. At the heart of our approach to CSR at HZL lies our efforts to forge multi-stakeholder partnerships, connected by a common core value of ‘Trust’ – where stakeholders like government, civil society, business, academia, and of course local communities can come together and be in synergistic action for a sustainable future. We believe that such partnerships are ‘key’ to enhancing value in any developmental effort.

The core focus of our CSR interventions are 184 communities located around our operations – across 66 Gram Panchayats in 12 tehsils spread across Udaipur, Rajsamand, Chittorgarh, Bhilwara and Ajmer districts of Rajasthan. However, we also have a mandate to extend our support to programs of national importance.

We respect human dignity and believe in inclusive and equitable growth, striving to improve quality of life, especially in our neighbouring communities by partnering with the government and with widely respected and credible NGO partners for implementing our Flagship Projects and other interventions.

The thematic areas that we focus on are Education, Sustainable Livelihoods, Women’s Empowerment, Health, Water & Sanitation, Sports & Culture, Environment and Community Development.
