Udaipur, 17th September 2022: Hindustan Zinc, a Vedanta group company and India’s largest & only integrated producer of Zinc, Lead & Silver, celebrated Raktdaan Amrit Mahotsav by carrying a blood donation camp at Central Hospital, Zinc Smelter Debari. The blood donation was carried out in association with the Indian Red Cross Society, District Branch of Udaipur. Employees of the company came in large numbers to donate blood. A total of 50 units of blood was donated by the employees and business partners of Hindustan Zinc.
The active participation of the employees of Hindustan Zinc translates their core value of giving back to society. The blood donation drive rewarded the Live Savers through a Certificate of Recognition and created awareness around the community. Hindustan Zinc is constantly contributing towards nation building as this drive will help in the creation of a database for donors to be contacted in case of an emergency.
