From driving innovations and practicing sustainable mining to reducing environmental footprint and ensuring inclusive community growth, we embed sustainability across the value chain.
Our robust Sustainable Development Framework includes a suite of sustainability policies, standards and guidance notes, which steer our operational and social excellence, advancing business outcomes as well as the communities and environment where we operate. This is adopted from our parent company, Vedanta and comprises of 4 pillars of Responsible Production, Building Strong Relationships, Adding and Sharing Value and Strategic Communication. As a signatory to the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC), our approach to conducting business in harmony with our all stakeholders aligns with the 10 principles of UNGC on human rights, labour standards, environmental protection and anti-corruption.

Sustainability Assurance Programme
Is our sustainability risk assurance tool which is used to assess compliance of our businesses with the and identify and address gaps, if any. It has different modules covering environment, health, safety, community and human rights. The assessment is conducted annually under the direct supervision of our senior leadership.
